1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VanQuote at www.vanquote.app (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately. These terms apply to all users, including guests who use the Service without creating an account.

2. Description of Service

VanQuote is an AI-powered quoting and job management platform designed for tradespeople and contractors. The Service allows users to:

• Generate professional quotes using voice input, text descriptions, and job-site photos
• Export quotes as PDF documents and share them via WhatsApp or other channels
• Manage clients, track jobs, and create invoices
• Access AI-generated pricing suggestions tailored to your trade type and location

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction to use VanQuote as a registered user. Guest users (those who create quotes without an account) may use the Service for trial purposes only, limited to 3 quotes.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering, including your name, business name, and trade type. You must notify us immediately at support@vanquote.app of any unauthorised access to your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information for quote generation
• Use the Service to generate quotes on behalf of a business you do not represent
• Attempt to circumvent the free-plan quote limits by creating multiple accounts
• Upload illegal, harmful, or privacy-violating content, including photos of individuals without consent
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service in an automated fashion
• Use the Service to train competing AI systems or pricing models
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or impairs the Service

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit to VanQuote, including job descriptions, client details, photos, and voice recordings. By submitting content, you grant Kogneev AI Tech a non-exclusive, worldwide, limited licence to process, store, and use that content solely to provide the Service. We do not use your business data to train AI models.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Quotes generated by VanQuote are AI-assisted suggestions based on your descriptions and market-rate data. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not reflect current material costs in your area. You are solely responsible for reviewing, adjusting, and presenting any quote to your clients. VanQuote is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated pricing without independent verification.

8. Subscription Plans and Payments

VanQuote offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Solo, Pro, Team). Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. All prices are displayed in your local currency at checkout. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method. Pricing may change with 30 days' notice.

9. Free Plan Limits

Free registered accounts are limited to 5 AI-generated quotes per calendar month. Guest users (no account) are limited to 3 trial quotes. These limits reset on the first day of each calendar month. Limits may be changed at our discretion with reasonable notice.

10. Intellectual Property

The VanQuote platform, brand, software, and AI models are the exclusive intellectual property of Kogneev AI Tech. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership right in the Service or its underlying technology.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kogneev AI Tech's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@vanquote.app.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, without prejudice to your rights under the laws of your country of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users by email of material changes.
