Refund Policy

1. General Policy

All subscription payments made to VanQuote are generally non-refundable once processed. By subscribing to a paid plan (Solo, Pro, or Team), you acknowledge that charges are applied immediately upon confirmation and that access to premium features begins at that point.

Kogneev AI Tech reserves the right to approve refunds on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Repeated or abusive refund requests may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Free Plan

VanQuote offers a permanently free tier providing 5 AI-generated quotes per month. Guest users (no account) receive 3 trial quotes. No payment is required to use the free tier, and therefore no refund applies.

3. When a Refund May Be Considered

We may consider a refund in the following circumstances:

  • You were charged in error (e.g. a duplicate charge)
  • The Service was completely unavailable for an extended period due to our fault
  • You subscribed but did not access any premium features within the billing period and contact us within 7 days of the charge
  • You are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer protection law in your country

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@vanquote.app within 7 days of the charge date and include:

  • The email address registered to your account
  • Your Stripe transaction ID (visible in your subscription confirmation email)
  • The reason for your refund request

We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be returned to your original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank or card provider.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until that date. Cancelling does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period.

6. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. VanQuote does not store your full card details. Any approved refunds are processed through Stripe back to your original payment method.

7. UK and EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom or European Union, you may have additional rights under applicable consumer protection legislation. Please contact us at support@vanquote.app to discuss your situation and we will honour any rights you are entitled to under applicable law.
